Shredding
This weekend I shredded.
I had a huge pile of documents that couldn't simply be put in the garbage, due to all kinds of NDAs and things, so I shredded them. One page at a time.
I ended up with 18 (eighteen!) large green garbage bags full of shredded paper, and the realization that there is no paper recycling that I know of in Tel Aviv ...

Answer - nowhere ...
You've either got to resolve yourself to polluting the environment, because there is no newspaper (or any other paper) recycling in Tel Aviv, or very quickly get into papier mache (<- insert acute accent here).
CK - either that or for rolling our joints ...
But, since you have paper recycling up there, would you like a delivery of 18 garbage bags full of shredded paper?
:)
Oh, and ya - being from Tel Aviv is cool ... LOL
Gads, even in little old Herzlia we've got those green, oversized, blocking-my-line-of-sight-for-oncoming-cars-at-streetcorners collection bins. Can you farm it out?
My personal solution to this embarassing Tel-Aviv problem: I don't buy newspapers any more. I read all the news I need on the Internet, hear it on the radio. However, I used to use old bought newspaper as toilet paper for my dog. Now I have to scrounge other people's newspapers. I hesitate to offer her services as a recycling center though, because she's a very small dog and requires an average of only two or three pages a day.
