The flowers that bloom in the Spring

Inspired by both Lirun down in Yafo and Wicked Danu over in Dubai, I am proud to present my first frangipani flowers of the year. Woo hoo!

Feel free to applaud at your leisure :)

We have those growing here too! Right there in front of our house.. and I, being miserably flower-ignorant, never knew that it was called a 'frangipani'. It smells so so sweet, I love it. It's one of my favorites :)

Congratulations! Enjoy every whiff of its flowers.

You get frangipanis, we have the Tulip festival coming up in our nation's capital!

(It's just another excuse to go to Red Lobster as we don't have one in Montréal.. tulips shmulips)

Kiwi Boy - you lucky thing. You see? We have very similar flowers, which is not surprising, since we have very similar climates. Enjoy yours too!

IB - I wish I could!! It is truly divine.

yaeli - Thanks gal, wait till you smell it though :)

lirun - *bows* thank you, thank you. It's a tree, but it's in a pot. A potted tree if you like. That's because I'm three storeys above ground level, which is just a tad too high for the roots to reach the ground.

As for S'witz, I haven't heard from him in donkeys'. Maybe I'll send him an email, find out what continent they're on.

Nizo Tulips are for the birds. Or the Dutch. No Red Lobster in Montreal? And "accomodements raisonables"?? Good lord man, why are you still there? :D

(Of course, I have no idea what Red Lobster is ...)

A great restaurant that serves (drumroll....) lobster! Typically eaten with the accompanying beer imaginatively called "Red Claw".

yummmy...

lirun - the baby is very cute.. you know of the baby right? - yes, I know about the baby, but unfortunately, I never got to see her. Let me know if you hear that they're in Israel.

Nizo - A great restaurant that serves (drumroll....) lobster! - Where do they get these original names from?

"Red Claw" beer? Hmm, I'll pass thank you ...

Take it slowly, NB. We don't want you rupturing anything vital as a result of the exertion ...

Frangipani is also a restaurant in Dizengoff, did you know? :D

Nice flower tho, the flowers of the tree under my building aren't that 'delicate' *tongue-emoticon* - but the wasps sure like them ;-)
