Haredi Pride Parade 2007
Yes, the Haredim are at it again, burning garbage bins and generally being very campy about today's Pride Parade in Jerusalem.
And again, I am simply tempted into thinking that they do protest too much ...
In the meantime, can someone please bitch-slap Nissim Zeev?
Or at least give him a lecture in modern psychology, psychiatry and whatever else it takes to drag his rather slow brain kicking and screaming into the 21st century?

Don't knock the rehab centre idea.. it could be a great place to pick up.
An older friend once told how he went to a church-run rehab centre for homosexuals in montreal back in the early 70's. After the rehab session he used to meet up with the priest-counsellor at a nearby bathhouse for extra tutoring.
Nissim Ze'ev is a member of Shas. You expect such things from them, come on, they're political entertainment!

Kiwi boy - jokes lose their lustre when repeated too often. I'd rather see Nissim Zeev go back into his box and be replaced by someone truly entertaining.
I once got into a fierce email argument with someone who had joined a group I moderate just so that they could sent a post promoting a therapy method that helps gays go straight and letting people know who to contact.
People never cease to shock me with their stupidity and insensitivity with regard to homosexuality.
(Oh, and I told the email sender that should he ever try posting a similar email again, he would be banned from the list...)
Well hmmm if there was a program to help straight people go gay I think I'd be the first to sign up --the men in this country, gah!
Herr Ze'ev is merely continuing the fine tradition of the Imam Abdullah Yussuf - the genius who brought us such pearls as "navi aleyhem tilim al ha keif-keifak" and "kulanu yehudim - afilu harusim hamiskenim haele". Actually, every time the esteemed Imam opens his mouth, words of gentle wisdom stream forth to enlighten all of Am Israel.
These gentlemen are even dressed like especially macabre jesters.
