Tagged!!

Ouch!! I've been tagged by Drima!

Ok, so if I understand this particular game, I'm supposed to tell you stuff you don't otherwise know about about me, and presumably want to know. Of course, that's a bit silly, because if I had wanted you to know secret stuff about me, it wouldn't be secret ... but anyway, here goes:

1. I was a choirboy for much longer than is advisable, health-wise.

2. I have moved apartments 8 times in 10 years.

3. I don't watch television (though I have one).

4. Most of my CDs are classical, and vocal classical at that.

5. I once sang in a huge Gothic cathedral in Northern Germany, overshadowed by an enormous replica of the Menora from the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.

6. I have spent a total of 48 hours in Japan.

7. I love doing home improvement projects but tend to get stuck at vital stages (remember the outdoor furniture? Well, the chairs are still seat-less, which is becoming less and less convenient as the weather gets better).

8. I recently consigned an old heater to the scrap-heap as it was emitting a bad smell. I went to the trouble of ordering and receiving a new heater, and when I noticed that it was emitting the same bad smell, I realized that the problem had not been the heater, but the fact that it was too close to a potted plant, which I was slowly, but surely, burning.

9. I can subsist on cornflakes.

10. I cannot eat onions (in almost any form), kiwifruit, persimmons or eggplant.

Ok, I hope 10 vital facts is sufficient. Personally, I'm not sure how you've all survived so far without knowing these.

I am used to tagging by the honor system, but I can see that last time, that was not a great success. So I'm afraid I'm going to have to keep you all in at recess today, and I'm going to have to tag actual people. Therefore, I tag: Noorster, Idan and the Bullfighter. ha-HA!

Purim in my sights ...

I know it's been ages since I've written anything substantial, but ...

I've just returned home with four meters (or metres) of glittery red, slightly see-through (!)material and a corset.

I have only a vague idea of what it's going to be, but one thing's for sure. It's going to be fabulous. Oh, and red.

Gotta love Purim!
